The disaster response teams of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in various regions are on duty to assist local government units in attending to the needs of individuals and families should any eventuality occur in their areas during the Holy Week.

A total of 374,097 family food packs are on standby in all DSWD Field Offices and at the National Resource Operations Center (NROC) in Pasay City, ready to be distributed to individuals and families who may require food assistance.

Likewise, standby funds amounting to P53.4 million are also available to purchase emergency relief supplies when needed.
