Theagreement which was signed by the DSWD and 444 local chief executives marks the implementation of 4Ps in 444 more municipalities bringing the total area-coverage to almost 700 municipalities in 80 provinces covering one (1) million poor households by the end of 2009.

4Ps is a poverty reduction and social development strategy that provides conditional cash grants to extremely poor households to improve their health, nutrition and education particularly of children aged 0-14.
