Intergenerational Program - A program that responds to the physical, social and psychological needs of older persons while addressing the generation gap between the young and old. Services of the program include the following:
Group Home for Older Persons - A community-based alternative living arrangement to institutional care. It is provided to a group of 6 to 8 Ops, to enable them to experience independent group living within a home life atmosphere under the supervision of a social worker either from the Local Government Units (LGUs), other Government Organization (GO) or Non Government Organizations (NGO).
Foster Home Program for Older Persons\Persons with Disabilities - The provision of a planned temporary substitute family care for older persons and persons with disabilities who are abandoned, neglected, unattached from the community and those on custodial care in residential care facilities.
Volunteer Service Program of Golden Acres - An organized approach that provides opportunities for interested individuals, groups, members of the nearby community and organizations to extend volunteer work to the residents of Golden Acres. Volunteers are recruited, screened, trained/oriented, monitored and evaluated under this program.
Sheltered Workshop for OP/PWDs - A community based facility designed to provide work training and productive employment for PWDs and OPs by producing and selling goods or services for income or profit.
