The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continues to put a premium on the health and safety of its employees by facilitating their vaccination against COVID-19.

As of September 30, some 15,492 employees from the Central Office and DSWD-Field Offices have received their first dose of vaccine, while 12,972 personnel were inoculated with their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccination roll out was done in partnership with the Department of Health to prioritize the essential workers and economic frontliners under the A4 priority group.

Likewise, the DSWD will also continue with its regular disinfection and sanitation activities to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, and ensure workplace safety in all its offices across the country. ###
