DSWD muling bubuksan ang aplikasyon para sa college internship ngayong Mayo

Nakatakdang buksan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office sa mga college applicants ang Government Internship Program (GIP) sa darating na ika-11 hanggang 12 ng Mayo.

Ang programa na bahagi ng Kabataan 2000 ay naglalayong bigyan ang mga mag-aaral ng hands-on experience sa pagtatrabaho sa iba’t ibang sangay ng pamahalaan.

Ang implementasyon ng internship program ay tatagal ng 30 araw simula 8 ng Hunyo hanggang 17 ng Hulyo.

Bukod sa Central Office (CO), ipapatupad din sa mga Field Offices (FO) ang GIP para rin sa mga nagnanais maglingkod sa kani-kanilang rehiyon.

Maaaring dumirekta ang mga aplikante sa DSWD FOs sa kanilang lugar upang malaman kung sila ba ay kwalipikado sa programa.

Pinatunayan ng mga intern na sina Joben Marqueses at Loisse Madrid na ang GIP ay isang epektibong tulay upang makakuha ng trabaho sa DSWD.

Ayon kay Joben, malaking tulong ang GIP sa kanyang job application sa DSWD– dahil kasi sa nakuha niyang karanasan bilang intern sa Digital Media Service (DMS), naging madali para sa kanya ang mag-adjust sa mga gawain nang siya ay naging opisyal na empleyado ng Departamento matapos ang kanyang kolehiyo.

Naging maganda rin ang resulta ng pagsisimula ni Loisse Madrid bilang GIP intern sa DSWD Academy noong 2025. Dahil sa mga kaalaman na nakuha niya sa internship, nagkaroon si Loisse inspirasyon para ipagpatuloy ang kanyang serbisyo publiko– mula sa pagiging Administrative Aide IV, na-promote si Loisse bilang Administrative Assistant III sa loob lamang ng anim na buwan sa DSWD Academy.

Aniya, ang karanasang nakuha niya ang nagpatibay sa kanyang kumpiyansa at nagpalalim sa kanyang pagnanais na maghatid ng mahusay at tapat na serbisyo sa mamamayan.

Bukas ang programa para sa mga kabataang edad 18 hanggang 25 na kasalukuyang nag-aaral sa kolehiyo o In-School-Youth (ISY)– kinakailangan din na ang buwanang kita ng pamilya ay hindi lalampas sa regional poverty threshold na iba-base sa pinakahuling datos mula sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Ang mga mapipiling intern ay makakatanggap ng stipend na katumbas ng 75 percent ng regional minimum wage rate.

The DSWD is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. The DSWD only has access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via the modules of this website or other direct contact from you. All of the provisions in the Data Privacy Act will be observed specifically on the management of personally identifiable information.

Information collected may be used as a basis for client response regarding services or intervention that may be provided by the DSWD. Information will not be shared with any third party outside of the Government, other than as necessary to fulfill the requested services of a client. The DSWD takes precautions to protect information. Upon submission of sensitive information via the website, information is protected both online and offline. Wherever the Department collects sensitive information (such as passport and Birth Certificates), that information is encrypted and transmitted to the DSWD in a secure manner. This may be verified by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, certificate printing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers, where personally identifiable information is stored, are kept in a secure environment.
