The QRT of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Field Office 10 has reported the following to the DSWD Central Office and to DSWD Officer-in-Charge Emmanuel A. Leyco:

A total of 7,154 families or 29,478 individuals have evacuated to 89 evacuation centers opened by local disaster risk reduction management offices in Northern Mindanao. 71 families or 297 persons have sought shelter with relatives and friends (outside the evacuation centers). Misamis Oriental is recorded to have the highest number of families staying in evacuation centers with 2,549 families or 10,140 individuals staying in 20 ECs. Bukidnon is recorded to have the highest number of families staying outside evacuation centers with 196 families or 669 individuals staying with relatives and friends.

Bukidnon has 1,385 families or 4,972 individuals who are currently staying in 20 evacuation centers. Valencia City, Bukidnon has the highest number of families staying in evacuation centers with 1,281 families or 4,571 individuals staying in fifteen (15) evacuation centers;  while Kibawe has 68 families or 285 individuals staying outside evacuation centers.

Camiguin has no record of families staying in evacuation centers or staying outside evacuation centers.

Lanao del Norte has 2,418 families or 11,092 individuals and are currently staying in 35 evacuation centers. Iligan City has the highest number of families staying in evacuation centers with 1,155 families or 4,575 individuals staying in 18 evacuation centers. There is no recorded number of families staying outside evacuation centers.

Misamis Occidental has 802 families or 3,274 individuals and are currently staying in 14 evacuation centers. Jimenez has the highest number of families staying in evacuation centers with 600 families or 2,497 individuals staying in 3 evacuation centers. There is no recorded number of families staying outside evacuation centers.

Misamis Oriental has 2,549 families or 10,140 individuals who are  currently staying in 20 evacuation centers. Cagayan de Oro City has the highest number of families staying in evacuation centers with 2,543 families or 10,121 individuals are now housed in   19 evacuation centers. While Gingoog City has 3 families or 12 individuals staying outside evacuation centers.

There are total of Two Hundred Fifty-Nine (259) houses recorded to be totally damaged, while 46 houses were partially damaged. Two Hundred Fifty-Nine (259) totally damaged houses and forty (40) partially damaged houses in Lanao del Norte, one (1) totally damaged house in Gingoog City, and six (6) partially damaged houses in Bukidnon.

There is a total of 56 persons declared dead – 38 in Salvador, Lanao del Norte, two (2) in Maigo, Lanao del Norte, 10 in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, two (2) in Munai, Lanao del Norte because of Vinta.

A record of twelve (12) persons have been  recorded injured – the two (2) injury incidents were recorded from Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, Four (4) in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, and Six (6) in Salvador, Lanao del Norte.

There are a total of 268 persons who have been declared missing. The 265 missing individuals were recorded from the municipalities of Salvador, Bacolod, Kolambugan, Tubod, Tagoloan, Tangcal, Munai, and Sapad, Lanao del Norte; while the Three (3) missing individuals were recorded from Initao, Misamis Oriental.

There are five (5) families who were affected due to landslide caused by TS Vinta   in Valencia City. Two (2) casualties were reported from the said city.

Only the local government unit of Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental has requested augmentation from DSWD Field Office X. 254 family food packs were sent to the local government unit for distribution to their internally displaced persons.

Action taken for IDPs of Marawi Siege in Lanao del Norte:

Distributed 1,100 Mats and Malong to the affected families in Baloi and Pantao Ragat.
Distributed 20 Laminated sacks to ECs flooded during the storm.
Provided Family Food Packs to 816 affected families in Baloi.
24/7 monitoring of the status of IDPs inside evacuation centers and tents thru the LDRRMOs and Camp Managers.

The QRT of DSWD Field Office 10 continues to monitor and closely coordinate with local disaster risk reduction management council throughout Northern Mindanao.
