The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has started releasing the Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) grants of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Mindanao.

The UCT grants of beneficiaries under the 4Ps regular conditional cash transfer program from Regions X, XI, and XII, as well as from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), were credited to their cash card accounts on December 17.  Meanwhile, the grants of 4Ps beneficiaries from Regions IX and Caraga will be credited on December 21.

For beneficiaries under the 4Ps modified conditional cash transfer program from Regions IX, X, XI, XII, Caraga, and BARMM, their UCT grants will be credited on their accounts on December 21.

Over 1.3 million 4Ps beneficiaries in Mindanao are expected to receive their UCT grants.

DSWD earlier announced that it would be releasing the UCT grants of 4Ps beneficiaries in Luzon and Visayas this month.

UCT is a cash subsidy provided to qualified poor households and individuals to help them cope with the adverse economic impact of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law. ###
