As the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) caps its 74th founding anniversary celebration, the agency is set to give tribute to its exemplary and loyal employees in the Central Office (CO) through the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) and Loyalty Awards.
DSWD spokesperson Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao said the annual PRAISE awards is a mechanism to recognize the significant contributions of notable agency personnel.
“The PRAISE Award is presented each year to outstanding performers in the DSWD. It aims to foster creativity, innovation, efficiency, integrity, and productivity in public service by acknowledging and rewarding officials and employees for their contributions to enhancing government operations,” the DSWD spokesperson explained on Wednesday (March 12).
The Loyalty Awards, on the other hand, is conferred to permanent, contractual, and casual employees and officials who have rendered 10 years or more of faithful government service.
The Central Office PRAISE winners and Loyalty Awardees will receive cash incentives and plaques from the DSWD in a special ceremony on March 13 at the Landbank Diosdado Macapagal Hall, Malate, Manila. (AKDL)
