The remaining two minors who were among the 14 children rescued in Talaingod, Davao del Norte and  were placed under temporary custody  at the  Home for the Aged in Tabuk City have now returned to their families last week.

This was confirmed by the DSWD-Field Office XI after they received the Parental Capability Assessment Report (PCAR) from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Talaingod.

According to the report, a discharge conference was held and attended by social workers of the center, MSWDO, PSWDO, the PNP Davao del Norte Women and Children Protection Desk, and identified family members who will be the custodian of the children.

One of the children was turned over to the mother while the other one was entrusted to the grandfather.

The DSWD will continue to update the public on important developments on the status of the children. ###
