DSWD FO-5 extends more aid to severely-affected families in Bicol region

Personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office (FO) 5 – Bicol Region conducts home visits on Wednesday (September 4) to deliver additional assistance to the families of four deceased victims and an injured survivor who have been severely affected by the effects of Typhoon Enteng in the region. The FO-5, through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) provided them with food, and psychosocial intervention, as well as funeral assistance to the bereaved families of the reported casualties. Eligible 4Ps grantees may now withdraw their June and July grants

Beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) may now claim their cash grants for the period of June-July 2024 starting on Thursday (September 5). “The 4Ps household beneficiaries may now withdraw their cash grants starting on Thursday, through their ATM cards in select Land Bank branches or from accredited merchants via Point-of-Sale (POS) in their respective localities,” DSWD Asst. DSWD reiterates requirements in claiming Centenarians’ cash gift

DSWD, PUP launch on-the-job training for IE students doing time and motion study on agency processes

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) forged a partnership with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) for an on-the-job training program for Industrial Engineering (IE) students who will conduct a time and motion study (TMS) on the agency’s processes.
