Naga City mayor lauds DSWD’s swift response for Enteng-hit constituents

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) was lauded by the local chief executive of Naga City in Camarines Sur province on Wednesday (September 4) for the agency’s swift delivery of augmentation support to  the local government unit’s (LGU) relief efforts for families severely affected by Tropical Storm Enteng. DSWD execs lead ribbon cutting of Humanitarian and Dev’t Summit 2024

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) officials led the ribbon cutting for the opening of the exhibit for the Humanitarian and Development Summit 2024 at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas Center, Pasig City on Wednesday (Sept. 4). DSWD continues replenishment of relief supplies for Field Office-5

In response to Typhoon Enteng’s impact on the Visayas region, 15,000 boxes of family food packs (FFPs) are being loaded onto delivery trucks at the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Visayas Disaster Resource Center (VDRC) in Mandaue City, Cebu for immediate dispatch to DSWD Field Office-5 (Bicol Region) to support families affected by the disaster. On Tuesday (September 3), an additional 5,000 FFPs will be sent to FO-5 to further support local government units (LGUs) in their relief efforts in Bicol Region.#

DSWD Field Office-5 sends over 420 boxes of FFPs to families in Polangui, Albay

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office-5 (Bicol Region) has swiftly distributed a total of 423 boxes family food packs (FFPs) to families affected by Tropical Storm Enteng in various barangays in Polangui, Albay on Monday (September 2). DSWD distributes over PHP5M worth of FFPs in Cam Sur

Over Php5 million worth of family food packs (FFPs) were swiftly distributed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office (FO)-5 (Bicol Region) to 7,402 families from various municipalities in the province of Camarines Sur who were affected by Tropical Storm “Enteng” on Monday (September 2). DSWD intensifies disaster response operations for “Enteng”

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continues to intensify its disaster response operations as Tropical Storm Enteng accelerates over Northern Luzon, an official of the agency’s Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) said on Tuesday (September 3). “Sa kasalukuyan, ongoing pa rin po ang isinasagawa natin na koordinasyon sa LGUs  especially that Enteng is battering naman the Northern part of the country, Region 2 (Cagayan Valley),” DRMG Asst. DSWD checks on status of displaced families in Baseco evacuation center

Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office (DSWD) – National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday (Sep. 3) checks on the condition of evacuees at the Baseco National Highschool who were affected by the heavy rain and flooding brought about by Tropical Storm “Enteng.” Over 50 families or 200 individuals from Barangay 649 in Manila are taking temporary shelter at the Baseco evacuation center. As part of the Agency’s relief operation, the DSWD FO – NCR is actively coordinating with concerned local government units (LGUs) to determine the status of the evacuees and other affected communities to provide additional assistance.

DSWD chief visits ‘Enteng’ evacuees in Antipolo

Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary (DSWD) Rex Gatchalian visits on Tuesday (September 3) the 107 families or 369 individuals who are currently staying in an evacuation center at the Jesus S. Cabarus Elementary School in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City after they were displaced at the height of Tropical Storm Enteng.
