Real Life Stories – Hope flows through DSWD’s water system project

In a small barangay in Talugtug, Nueva Ecija, around 90 households are now benefiting from a much-needed water system. This project is funded by the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). DSWD partners with UNDP for digital transformation

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Philippines Resident Representative Dr. Selva Ramachandran signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at enhancing social welfare services in the Philippines through digital transformation, evidence-based decision-making, and analytics. DSWD gets Php875M QRF replenishment; vows unhampered response for typhoon-hit families

An official of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reported on Thursday (November 14) that the agency has already received the Php875 million Quick Response Fund (QRF) replenishment from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM). DSWD extends over Php27M in aid to families affected by Typhoons Nika, Ofel

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has provided over Php27 million worth of humanitarian aid to families affected by Tropical Cyclones Nika and Ofel.
