5,500 DSWD food packs arrive in Batanes

DSWD extends financial aid to families battered by Kristine

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s ( DSWD) Field Office (FO) 5-Bicol Region extended financial assistance to families hit by Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Kristine in the Province of Masbate on October 30 and 31. “The DSWD remains committed to supporting families affected by recent disasters in rebuilding their homes and restoring their lives. DSWD recognized by ARTA for outstanding performance in anti-red tape initiatives

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) was recognized on Wednesday (October 30) by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) for its outstanding performance in anti-red tape initiatives during the recent ARTA Report Card Survey (RCS) Awards for the 2023 RCS 2.0 at the Conrad Hotel in Pasay City. In celebration of the 32nd National Children’s Month (NCM) this November, the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), an attached agency of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), announced that this year’s event is focused on advocating to end all forms of violence against children.
