President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., accompanied by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and other Cabinet members, takes the ‘Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas’ job fair to Antipolo City in Rizal on Friday (April 4) to bring opportunities and government services closer to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in the province.

More than 1,800 4Ps beneficiaries gathered at the Antipolo Educational Sports Hub to take part in the job fair and avail of various government services.

As of press time, 59 jobseekers were hired-on-the-spot (HOTS), with 58 of them 4Ps beneficiaries.

The Rizal leg is just part of the Marcos administration’s thrust to take the job fair nationwide to help 4Ps beneficiaries improve their lives and achieve self-sufficiency.

Aside from the employers pooled by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), other participating government agencies include the PhilHealth, Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Pag-Ibig, Department of Health (DOH), and Department of Agriculture (DA). (GDVF)
