Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistant Secretary Baldr Bringas of the Innovations and Program Development Group (IPDG), who is also the current chairperson of the agency’s management committee (MANCOM), presides over the body’s 7th regular meeting for 2025 on Tuesday (April 8) at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City.
The meeting focused on the review of proposed amendments to the existing and new guidelines for the agency’s key programs and services.
The DSWD MANCOM, composed of the assistant secretaries and directors, serves as an independent body representing middle management of the agency which also undertakes the complete review and integration of inputs for proposed guidelines, position papers, policies, issuances and other policy instruments.
During its regular meetings, the MANCOM decides and acts upon all matters and provisional agenda toward systematic and effective provision of support services for the policy making and operations of the agency. (LSJ)
