Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro Herbosa meet on Wednesday (April 16) to discuss updates on the implementation of the Philippine Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP).

The PMNP aims to reduce stunting in targeted localities by adopting a multi-sectoral nutrition approach to deliver a coordinated package of nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions across various local government unit (LGU) platforms together with harmonized social behavior change and communication strategy.

Accompanying Secretary Gatchalian in the meeting held at the DOH Central Office in Manila were DSWD Undersecretary Monina Josefina Romualdez of the Operations Group and Director Bernadette Mapue-Joaquin of the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS). # (GDVF)
