Around 3,000 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from 11 municipalities in Pangasinan participate in the ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas’ job fair in Dagupan City on Friday (April 25).

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Vilma Cabrera of the Conditional Cash Transfer Group (CCTG) was present at the job fair.

Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) also graced the activity.

The job fair is part of the collaborative effort of various agencies, under the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., to help the graduating 4Ps beneficiaries find employment opportunities.

As of 12noon, 51 beneficiaries have been hired on the spot (HOTS) and are availing of services needed for employment processing from participating agencies. # (GDVF)
