The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), led by the Partnerships Building and Resource Mobilization Office (PBRMO), hosted a town hall meeting with various social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs) on Friday (May 16) to know their insights and experiences on using the recently-launched Kaagapay Donations Portal.

The PBRMO team was joined by Director Megan Therese Manahan of the Standards Bureau (SB) who actively responded to the feedback and queries raised by the participating SWDAs.

The activity also served as a platform to deepen the SWDAs’ confidence over the new donations platform.

Launched last February, the Kaagapay Donations Portal is designed to streamline the donation process for both donors and donees.

Through the platform, donations, whether in-kind or in-cash, go directly to the intended beneficiaries. (LSJ)
