Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Emmeline Villar addresses on Friday (October 4) the women and other persons with disabilities who participated in the Women with Disabilities Summit 2024 in Pasay City.

Undersecretary Villar assured the participants of the summit, organized by the Women with Disabilities Leap to Social Progress, Inc, that the DSWD, under the leadership of Secretary Rex Gatchalian, will support all efforts toward building a society where women with disabilities are protected, respected, and empowered.

The summit was attended by representatives of national agencies, local government units (LGUs) and various non-government organizations (NGOs).
