Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office (DSWD) – National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday (Sep. 3) checks on the condition of evacuees at the Baseco National Highschool who were affected by the heavy rain and flooding brought about by Tropical Storm “Enteng.”

Over 50 families or 200 individuals from Barangay 649 in Manila are taking temporary shelter at the Baseco evacuation center.

As part of the Agency’s relief operation, the DSWD FO – NCR is actively coordinating with concerned local government units (LGUs) to determine the status of the evacuees and other affected communities to provide additional assistance.
