DSWD ready to assist OFWs repatriated from Israel, other conflict-affected countries

DSWD chief welcomes forging partnership with DHSUD for exiting 4Ps households

In a strategic effort to strengthen support for households transitioning out of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of HumanSettlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) convened on Thursday (June 19 ) at the DSWD Central Office to discuss possible collaboration on housing assistance for eligible beneficiaries. Pilot testing of unified ID system for 200k persons with disabilities in 35 LGUs – NCDA head

The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA), an attached agency of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, will pilot test the unified identification (ID) cards for persons with disabilities in 35 areas all over the country. NCDA Executive Director (ED) Glenda Relova told Super Radyo DZBB on Tuesday (June 24) that the pilot testing will involve 200,000 persons with disabilities who will be able to use the new ID cards in July.
