The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will be holding a Humanitarian and Development Summit that aims to foster inclusiveness and coordination between the government and private sector on disaster response, risk reduction, and responsive social protection. DSWD chief leads follow-up meeting on regional disaster response for ‘Enteng’

DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian holds a follow-up virtual meeting with Field Office (FOs) regional directors (RDs) to discuss disaster response updates, needs, and gaps on the effects of Tropical Storm EntengPH through its Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) on Monday (September 2). DSWD hands over 5k boxes of relief supplies to Taguig LGU

Disaster response and management personnel of the local government unit (LGU) of Pasig City have started their pick-up of the 5,000 boxes of family food packs (FFPs) on Monday (September 2) from the National Resource Operations Center (NROC) in Pasay City. The FFPs were requested by the LGU from the DSWD’s Disaster Response and Management Group (DRMG) amid the onslaught of Typhoon Enteng.#
