DSWD sends over Php26.9-M aid to flood-hit families in Mindanao

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has extended more than Php 26.9 million worth of humanitarian aid to families affected by torrential rains and flooding incidents in some parts of Mindanao. DSWD calls for more support services for exiting 4Ps beneficiaries

An official of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has called for more support services for some 1.2 million household-beneficiaries who are expected to exit from the program this year to ensure that the gains to improve their well-being will be sustained. DSWD team checks impact of emergency cash aid on quake-hit residents in Sarangani

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) deployed a disaster team in Glan, Sarangani to check the impact of emergency cash transfer (ECT) on the residents who were affected by the 6.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the province in November 2023. Getting out of poverty and living a comfortable life has always been the dream of Cherry and Virgilio Canales for their family.
