DSWD aids stranded individuals due to San Juanico Bridge emergency repair

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office 8-Eastern Visayas swiftly assisted the individuals affected by the passage restrictions due to the emergency repair of the San Juanico Bridge, an agency official said on Tuesday (May 20). Asst. DSWD produces record 3 million food packs in agency warehouses nationwide

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) now has a total of 3,000,658 boxes of family food packs (FFPs) prepositioned across the agency’s warehouses nationwide — the highest stockpile recorded so far in the Department’s history. DSWD reaches out to rescued human trafficking victim-survivors in Zambales

Social workers of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3-Central Luzon responded swiftly to assist eight individuals who were rescued in an anti-human trafficking entrapment operations led by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday (May 14) at a bar in East Dirita, San Antonio, Zambales.
