DSWD exec cites PH’s disaster resilience programs in Geneva forum

Drop in ‘self-rated poor’ shows gov’t anti-poverty program on right track – DSWD

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has welcomed the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey that showed a decrease in the number of “self-rated poor” families in April, an indication that the national government’s anti-poverty program is on the right track. “This is a good indicator that the government’s anti-poverty program is on the right track.
