The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is currently implementing its innovative Community Generative Action towards Reformative Development Ending Poverty and Hunger (Community GARDEnPH) in three municipalities in Regions CALABARZON, Eastern Visayas, and CARAGA as an additional measure to combat hunger and poverty. The Community GARDEnPH, which started in 2023, aims to capacitate the members of the community to work together and establish their own communal gardens. No need for travel clearance if legitimate child travels abroad with any of biological parents – DSWD exec

A legitimate child traveling abroad with any one of the biological parents is not required to secure a travel clearance, according to a senior official of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). “Kapag po one of the biological parents is traveling with the [legitimate] minor. A total of 91 Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) composed of farmers and agri-vendors from Pangasinan received Php38 million in seed capital fund from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Tuesday (March 25).
