DSWD ready for new storm; 3M food packs prepositioned in 938 warehouses nationwide

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has prepositioned 3 million boxes of family food packs (FFPs) in 938 warehouses across the country as it braces for incoming storms with the onset of the rainy season. Php20/kilo rice means more food for ‘Walang Gutom’ households – DSWD chief

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian welcomed the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) approval of the Php20 per kilo rice that will be allocated for the beneficiaries of the Walang Gutom Program (WGP).
