DSWD chief to recognize agency’s ‘Angels in Red Vests’

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian is set to recognize and honor the agency’s personnel also known as ‘Angels in Red Vests’, who have shown exemplary performance in 2024 through the National Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) ceremonies to be held on Friday (March 14) at the Landbank’s Diosdado Macapagal Hall in Malate, Manila. DSWD looks forward to working with IOM on enhanced humanitarian response

DSWD receives overwhelming response to new online portal for travel clearance for minors

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has already processed 1,773 applications for travel permit for minors via the online Minors Travelling Abroad (MTA) permit system since it was launched last February 18.
