DSWD’s new project pays homage to role of elders, kids in nation building

In an effort to foster intergenerational bonding amid issues of generation gap, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) launched the Apo Ko: Kwento ni Lolo’t Lola, Gabay ng Kabataan Project on Friday (February 20) at the Haven for the Elderly in Tanay, Rizal. DSWD’s 4Ps launches First 1,000 Days cash grants for pregnant, 0-2 year-old kid- beneficiaries

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) will launch the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) of Life cash grants on Friday (February 21) at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City. The F1KD is intended to give support to 4Ps households who have pregnant women or children 0-2 years old. More than 2,500 jobs await 4Ps members in Negros Oriental

A total of 2,644 local and overseas job opportunities are up for grabs at the ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas para sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)’ job fair organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Thursday (February 20) in Negros Oriental. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) brings the ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas para sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)’ job fair to Negros Oriental on Thursday (February 20). DSWD facilitates donors – donees matching during launch of agency’s donations portal

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) facilitated a donor-donee matching during the Kaagapay Donations Portal Launch on Tuesday (February 18) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Dubbed as “Push sa Puso: Donors-Donees Matching,” some 100 participants from Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) and non-government organizations were matched to 100 participants from DSWD partners and other institutional organizations to help the latter meet potential donors for their facilities and needs. The Kaagapay Donations Portal Launch is part of the 74th anniversary celebration of the DSWD with the theme, “Bawat Pamilyang Pilipino ay Mahalaga sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

Law on 4Ps ensures continuity of program – DSWD exec

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reaffirmed its commitment to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), emphasizing that as long as poverty exists and the law mandates it, the program will continue to provide assistance to poor and vulnerable families.
