DSWD provides initial 250 food packs to Isabela coastal town amid Typhoon Marce

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office 2-Cagayan Valley has initially provided 250 family food packs (FFPs) and 250 non-food items (NFIs) to residents of the coastal town of Maconacon in Isabela province who were evacuated as Typhoon Marce trails Northern Luzon. Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Wednesday (November 6) joined President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during the Camarines Sur leg of the Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolks, and Families (PAFFF) held at the Fuerte Sports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur. DSWD has over 1M food packs to support LGUs along the track of ‘Marce’

Over 400k waitlisted households validated by DSWD as 4Ps eligibles

More than 400,000 waitlisted households have been validated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as eligible for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) once the spots are vacated by families who have exited the program.
