DSWD Pag-abot team locates woman who surfaced from sewerage in Makati City

Members of the Pag-abot reach out team of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) visited on Wednesday (May 28) the vicinity at the corner of Rufino and Adelantado Streets in Salcedo Village, Barangay Bel-Air in Makati City in an effort to locate the woman who surfaced from a sewerage in the area. Newly-elected officials cannot enlist in 4Ps those who voted for them – DSWD exec

Only the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) can identify eligible beneficiaries of the agency’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) based on the criteria set under the law. DSWD chief orders delivery of 30K food packs to flood-hit Maguindanao province

In response to the intense rains and floodings in Mindanao, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian ordered the agency’s Field Office (FO) 12 – SOCCSKSARGEN to immediately deliver 30,000 boxes of family food packs (FFPs) to Maguindanao province in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). DSWD’s Pag-Abot team conducts follow-up reach out operations in NIA Rd in QC

Members of the Pag-Abot reach out team of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) returned on Tuesday (May 27) to NIA Road in Quezon City where they re-engaged with the families and individuals living along the thoroughfare. Last May 23, DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian led the Pag-Abot team in a reach-out operation in the vicinity of NIA Road with 13 families and 9 individuals in street situations chose to avail the program services such as temporary shelter and bringing them back to their respective provinces. DSWD, CWC’s media guide to safeguard children from retraumatization, abuse in media reports
