DSWD convenes Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking to discuss measures for protection of minors

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has convened the members of the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking to discuss ways on further strengthening child protection and preventing child trafficking. Director Edmon Monteverde of the DSWD’s Protective Services Bureau (PSB) presided over the coordination meeting at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City on Wednesday (March 19). Discounts, other privileges for Persons with Disabilities remain available while shifting to unified ID system – DSWD exec

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and its attached agency the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) have assured the public that the delivery of basic services to persons with disabilities (PWD) will not be hampered while the unified identification (ID) system is in the works.
