DSWD exec explains factors affecting 4Ps beneficiaries’ cash grant reduction

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) does not reduce the amount of cash grants of program beneficiaries without valid reasons. 62K families hit by Super Typhoon Carina get cash aid from DSWD’s ECT

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office 3-Central Luzon has started the distribution of Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) to families and individuals affected by Super Typhoon Carina in July 2024. DSWD wraps up 20-day Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program with 132K beneficiaries

College student-beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) have completed the 20-day Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program sessions this June, with total of 17,838 2nd to 4th year college students benefitting from the program. DSWD chief welcomes forging partnership with DHSUD for exiting 4Ps households

Pilot testing of unified ID system for 200k persons with disabilities in 35 LGUs – NCDA head

The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA), an attached agency of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, will pilot test the unified identification (ID) cards for persons with disabilities in 35 areas all over the country. DSWD aids families of 3 miners who died in Benguet landslide
