DSWD lauds free LRT 2 rides for persons with disabilities from July 17-23

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) lauds the provision of free rides at the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 2 to all persons with disabilities (PWD) from July 17-23 in observance of this year’s National Disability Rights Week (NDRW). DSWD, DOJ to establish compensation referral system for child victims of violent crimes

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will forge on Tuesday (July 15) an agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ) to establish a referral system that will help child victims of violent crimes under the custody of the agency’s Residential Care Facilities (RCFs) to receive monetary compensation. “Child victims of violent crimes often carry invisible scars that are very difficult to heal. Aeta community in Pampanga town to benefit from DSWD-PLGU agroforestry project
