DSWD brings gov’t services closer to agency personnel through one-stop-shop ‘Serbilis’ series

As part of its continuing commitment to support the welfare of its employees and institutional contractors, the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Human Resource Management and Development Service (HRMDS) will open another one-stop-shop ‘Serbilis’ series. “This one-stop-shop Serbilis aims to bring services from key national government agencies (NGAs) and government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) directly to the doorsteps of the DSWD Central Office,” Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao, who is also the agency spokesperson, said on Sunday (April 20). DSWD continues to monitor Mt. Kanlaon evacuees on Holy Week

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will continue monitoring the condition of Mt. Kanlaon evacuees during the Holy Week break, an agency official said on Wednesday (April 16). Latest Pulse Asia survey results affirm agency work in disaster response – DSWD spox

DSWD receives over Php12.8 M cash donations via Kaagapay Portal

DSWD calls to uphold restorative justice in handling cases of children in conflict with the law

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reiterated the need to uphold the principles of restorative justice in handling cases of children in conflict with the law (CICLs). “Minors who commit offenses do not go scot-free. This has always been emphasized in Republic Act 9344 as amended by Republic Act 10630 or the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act (JJWA),” Asst. DSWD, Manila Water Foundation explore innovative ways to generate potable water

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Manila Water Foundation, Inc. have joined hands to explore the use of Air-to-Water Technology (AWT) in generating potable water for communities in need under the agency’s Kapit-Bisig-Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS). “It’s a sustainable solution. DSWD’s REFUEL Project in support of WGP scale up gets nod of NEDA-ICC CabCom

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Reducing Food Insecurity and Undernutrition with Electronic Vouchers (REFUEL) Project that will scale up the Walang Gutom Program (WGP) for 2025-2028 has been green-lighted by the National Economic and Development Authority – Investment Coordination Committee Cabinet Committee (NEDA ICC-CabCom). DSWD upskills 18K college students ahead of Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program rollout

In preparation for the 20-day tutorial and parenting sessions under the Tara, Basa!
