Comfort of AICS clients on top list of DSWD with CIU’s new satellite office

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is set to open a new satellite office in Commonwealth, Quezon City that will boost the comfort of clients availing the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) and the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP). The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has reached out to ‘Daddy Ferdy’, the man with an ‘emotional’ video for his pet dog that was left at home alone after the fur dad was hospitalized. Conflict-affected communities in N.Cotabato now have safe zones for kids with DSWD’s child dev’t centers

In a significant step toward promoting peace in conflict-affected communities, 21 newly constructed child development centers (CDCs) were officially turned over on Thursday (June 19) to communities in Makilala town in North Cotabato. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reiterated that the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) targets individuals whose income are below the minimum wage and are reeling from the effects of inflation.
