DSWD affirms existing protocols in assisting abused, trafficked persons referred by authorities in Quiboloy case

DSWD brings community projects to conflict-affected areas in Cagayan Valley

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary for Inclusive – Sustainable Peace and Special Concerns (ISPSC) Alan Tanjusay led the ceremonial turn-over and ribbon cutting of the 1-kilometer concrete road with a reinforced concrete pipe culvert to community-recipients in Barangay San Jose, San Mariano town, Isabela province on Thursday (September 19). DSWD sends over Php265k in aid to Cagayan Valley families affected by TS Ferdie and Gener

In response to the compounded impacts of the southwest monsoon caused by Typhoon Ferdie and Gener, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has released Php265,805.61 worth of relief assistance to affected families in Cagayan Valley. As of September 19, the DSWD Field Office (FO) 2 – Cagayan Valley has distributed a total of 375 boxes of family food packs (FFPs) to families affected by the subsequent weather disturbances in various parts of the region.
