DSWD sends Php719K in relief aid to families affected by Bising, habagat

Families and individuals in Northern and Central Luzon drenched by the effects of Typhoon “Bising” and the habagat have so far received Php719,187-worth of relief assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), an agency official reported on Tuesday (July 8). Aside from family food packs (FFPs) and Ready-to-Eat Food (RTEF), non-food items such as hygiene kits are included in the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) relief package that are given to those affected by typhoons and other forms of emergencies.
