Php20 per kilo rice to benefit 4Ps members, persons with disabilities, solo parents, senior citizens – DSWD spox

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has welcomed the initiative of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr in providing Php20 per kilo rice that is affordable for vulnerable sectors and a timely step towards ensuring food security for poor Filipinos. 82 add’l Mercury Drug stores in 7 regions now accepting DSWD-issued guarantee letters

Starting June 30, an additional 82 branches of Mercury Drug in seven regions will be accepting guarantee letters (GLs) issued to clients under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) and the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP). DSWD reminds public: Repacking, selling of ready-to-eat food box prohibited
