3K Kapampangan 4Ps members join ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas’ job fair

Some 3,000 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) join the ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas’ job fair in San Fernando City, Pampanga on Monday (April 21). The job fair was organized by the DSWD, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and other key government agencies, to help 4Ps beneficiaries obtain employment opportunities and other services necessary for pre-employment processing. DSWD execs hold groundbreaking ceremony for agency’s new parking building

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Edward Justine Orden of the General Administration and Support Services Group (GASSG) leads on Monday (April 21) the ceremonial groundbreaking for the 2-level parking building to be constructed at the DSWD Central Office grounds in Quezon City. The 2-level parking building aims to provide a safer parking space for agency personnel, partners, and stakeholders. DSWD chief welcomes NEDA-ICC CabCom approval of REFUEL Project for Walang Gutom Program scale up

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian is pleased with the approval of the Reducing Food Insecurity and Undernutrition with Electronic Vouchers (REFUEL) Project by the National Economic and Development Authority – Investment Coordination Committee Cabinet Committee (NEDA ICC-CabCom), which will support the scale up of the Walang Gutom Program, formerly the agency’s Food Stamp Program, for 2025-2028. DSWD psychological first aid team conducts ‘Kamustahan’ with Myanmar quake survivors

The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Psychological First Aid (PFA) providers meet with the members of the Philippine Rapid Response Deployment Team (PRRDT) on Saturday night (April 12) to discuss updates on the conduct of the first day of the ‘Kamustahan’ or psychosocial counseling sessions with individuals affected by the 7.7 magnitude quake that hit Myanmar on March 28. DSWD psychological first aid providers arrive in Myanmar

The Psychological First Aid (PFA) providers from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) have arrived in Yangon, Myanmar on Friday (April 11) to provide psychosocial counseling for the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), mostly teachers, who were affected by the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that hit this Southeast Asian country.
