DSWD, World Bank to enhance exit strategies for graduating 4Ps members

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and representatives from World Bank gather for a meeting on Friday (May 23) to discuss the proposed enhanced exit strategies for graduating beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). Secretary Gatchalian is optimistic that the package of services in the updated strategies will be able to cater to the varying needs of exiting 4Ps beneficiaries and lead them toward their sustained socioeconomic development. DSWD reaches out to rescued human trafficking victim-survivors in Zambales

Social workers of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3-Central Luzon responded swiftly to assist eight individuals who were rescued in an anti-human trafficking entrapment operations led by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday (May 14) at a bar in East Dirita, San Antonio, Zambales. The three minor victim-survivors were provided with psychosocial intervention upon rescue while the remaining five were reunited with their families and will be assisted by the DSWD through the agency’s Recovery and Reintegration Program for Trafficked Persons (RRPTP) # (MBM)

DSWD gathers foundations, charitable groups for townhall meet on Kaagapay Donations Portal
