Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Director Megan Therese Manahan of the Standards Bureau (SB) briefs members of the media on the agency\’s newly-launched digital platform, the Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System (HELPS), during the Saturday News Forum on March 8 at the Dapo Restaurant in Quezon City. The HELPS serves as a virtual one-stop-shop for the agency’s regulatory services for social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs).

More than 3,000 members of the DSWD\’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) continue to access job opportunities at the ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas para sa 4Ps’ job fair at the Fuerte Sports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur, on Friday (March 7). Simultaneously, the DSWD also conducted a payout activity for 1,500 families with partially damaged houses to help them repair their homes after Tropical Storm Kristine ravaged the area last October 2024.
