DSWD exec briefs media on newly-launched HELPS portal

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Director Megan Therese Manahan of the Standards Bureau (SB) briefs members of the media on the agency\’s newly-launched digital platform, the Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System (HELPS), during the Saturday News Forum on March 8 at the Dapo Restaurant in Quezon City. The HELPS serves as a virtual one-stop-shop for the agency’s regulatory services for social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs).

PBBM, Cabinet execs congratulate hired-on-the-spot 4Ps members in Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas job fair

Over 3K members of 4Ps join ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas para sa 4Ps’ job fair in CamSur

More than 3,000 members of the DSWD\’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) continue to access job opportunities at the ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas para sa 4Ps’ job fair at the Fuerte Sports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur, on Friday (March 7). Simultaneously, the DSWD also conducted a payout activity for 1,500 families with partially damaged houses to help them repair their homes after Tropical Storm Kristine ravaged the area last October 2024. DSWD, BI firm up partnership for minors travelling abroad

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistant Secretary Ada Colico of the agency’s Protective Programs led an exploratory meeting with the Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Monday (March 3) to firm up the collaboration aimed at protecting unaccompanied minors travelling abroad from all forms of harm. Gov’t agencies vow for gender-fair, violence free community in 1st Quarter IACVAWC meeting

The Inter-Agency Council on Violence Against Women and their Children (IACVAWC), chaired by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), conducted its 1st Quarter Regular Council Meeting on Thursday (February 27) at the Bayleaf Hotel in Intramuros Manila. DSWD, DOJ partner to provide psycho-social intervention to individuals in crisis seeking justice

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla sign on Monday (March 3), the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) officially signifying the start of the Client Referral and Psycho-Social Intervention Program implementation. The program aims to provide DOJ clients, who are identified as individuals in crisis, with appropriate psycho-social interventions through the DSWD. Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian is pleased to witness the five teams of selected beneficiaries of the Walang Gutom Program (WGP) as they show off their cooking skills at the first Walang Gutom Kusinero Cook-Off Challenge on Friday (February 28) at the Dapa Gymnasium, in Dapa, Surigao Del Norte.
