The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), led by Undersecretary Monina Josefina Romualdez of the Operations Group, joined on Sunday (June 8) the OFW Serbisyo Caravan in Hong Kong in celebration of the 30th Migrant Workers Day.
The caravan was an initiative of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr to bring Government programs and services closer to people.
This also aligns with the Marcos Administration’s recognition of the brave sacrifices of OFWs in supporting their families and a testament to their contribution in building the Filipino nation.
Protective Services Bureau (PSB) Director Edmon Monteverde and Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Director Miramel Laxa accompanied Usec. Romualdez in bringing the DSWD’s programs and services to the OFWs of Hongkong.(GDVF)
