






The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), led by its Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), conducted a nationwide frontline service inspection on Thursday (May 8) at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City.
Representatives from the agency’s Internal Audit Service (IAS) and Management Service (MS), and partners from Jollibee Group Foundation Inc. and Ayala Foundation Inc. served as assessors of selected frontline services of the Department.
The frontline services that were assessed were the processing for the clearance of minors traveling abroad (MTA); the registration, licensing, and accreditation (RLA) of social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs); the Public Assistance and Complaint Desk (PACD); and the processing of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
The inspection is in line with the observance of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May. (AKDL)
