Some 1,495 disaster-affected families from Bacoor City, Cavite receive their emergency cash transfer (ECT) assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) during a payout activity at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA-Molino Campus on Friday (September 20).

DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla supervised the distribution of the cash aid.

Joining the DSWD chief in the payout were Undersecretary for Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) Diana Rose Cajipe, Field Office CALABARZON Director Barry Chua, and Assistant Regional Director for Operations Mylah Gatchalian.

The ECT is a DSWD program that provides additional assistance to families affected by disasters. #
