



Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian, also the co-chair of the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), leads the Philippine delegation during the last day of the Regional Dialogue and Knowledge Exchange between the Philippines and Cambodia on Wednesday (April 30).
The dialogue was aimed at strengthening bilateral efforts and sharing best practices in combating human trafficking.
As part of the knowledge exchange, the Cambodian delegation visited the former POGO scam hub located at the Nasdake Building in Pasay City.
The Philippine and the Cambodian delegates also toured around the Pag-Abot Program Processing Center and the Walang Gutom Kitchen, two of the newest innovations of the DSWD, both housed at the Nasdake Building.
DSWD officials who joined Secretary Gatchalian in the dialogue were Assistant Secretary Elaine Fallarcuna and Director Mary Grace Alboradora of the agency’s International Affairs, Attached and Supervised Agencies (IAASA).
