
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian meets with representatives of the Temasek Foundation on Monday (March 3) to explore possible areas of collaboration, particularly on the agency’s social protection programs for persons with disabilities.
The DSWD chief, joined by Assistant Secretary Marie Rafael of the Partnership Building and Resource Mobilization Office (PBRMO), also briefed the Temasek Foundation on the Kaagapay Donation’s Portal, one of the agency’s latest digital projects for simpler, easier, and more seamless way to donate to local social welfare initiatives in the country.
Temasek Foundation Manager Desiree Ng expressed enthusiasm on how the organization can synergize its advocacy and expertise with the DSWD to further enhance the agency’s existing social protection programs and digital innovations.
The Temasek Foundation is a Singaporean-based foundation that is focused on finding pathways to innovation to empower and uplift communities across the Southeast Asian Region.
