Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling explore possible ways to provide decent and affordable housing to families set to exit from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

In a meeting at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City on Thursday (June 19), the two secretaries agreed to finalize a Data Sharing Agreement to align DHSUD’s housing projects with the DSWD’s beneficiary data.

Joining the meeting were Undersecretary Vilma Cabrera and Asst. Secretary Marites Maristela of the DSWD’s Conditional Cash Transfer Group (CCTG); Asst. Secretary Elaine Fallarcuna of the Legislative Affairs Group (LAG); and 4Ps National Program Manager Director Gemma Gabuya.

Joining DHSUD Secretary Aliling were Assistant Secretary Frank Lloyd Gonzaga and Director Mylene Rivera. (YADP)
