Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Mr. Rolly Laganga, President of the DSWD-Social Welfare Employees Association of the Philippines (SWEAP), received on Monday (March 10) the Certification of Registration of the agency’s Collective Negotiations Agreement (CNA) 2024-2028 from the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The CNA 2024-2028 captures the Management-Association progressive realization of the efforts, support, and initiatives geared toward ensuring the welfare and well-being of DSWD employees nationwide, including personnel under Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order who have contributed to the overall performance of the agency.

The 4-year CNA is set to provide 21,000 personnel of DSWD Central Office and Field Offices with a range of benefits jointly proposed by the Department and the SWEAP, which is the premier association of the DSWD\’s rank-and-file employees.

The Certificate of Registration was presented to the DSWD Management and SWEAP officers by CSC-National Capital Region (NCR) Director Hans Alcantara in a simple turnover ceremony at the DSWD Central Office’s Kalayaan Board Room in Quezon City.

Also present in the ceremony were Undersecretary Adonis Sulit of the Policy and Plans Group (PPG), who is also the chairperson of the Association-Management Consultative Committee; Assistant Secretary Gina Wenceslao of the General Administration and Support Services Group (GASSG); and Director Jennifer Rizo of the Human Resource Management and Development Service (HRMDS).#
