Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Edu Punay of the Innovations and Program Development Group (IPDG) signs on Monday (April 28) a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Mayor Rafael Tanjuatco of Tanay, Rizal for the implementation of the agency’s Apo Ko: Kwento Ni Lolo’t Lola, Gabay ng Kabataan project.

The Project Apo Ko is an intergenerational initiative which aims to pass down the wisdom of the elderly to the younger generation, fostering mutual understanding, empathy, and cooperation.

The MOA was also signed by Assistant Regional Director for Administration
Alkent Bacolod of the DSWD Field Office CALABARZON.

Present to witness the ceremonial signing were Assistant Regional Director for Operations Bienvenido Jr. Barbosa of the DSWD FO National Capital Region (NCR), Director Helen Suzara of the DSWD’s Social Technology Bureau (STB), and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer of Tanay, Rizal Brecia Joy Monje. # (AKDL)
