Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) officials led the ribbon cutting for the opening of the exhibit for the Humanitarian and Development Summit 2024 at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas Center, Pasig City on Wednesday (Sept. 4).

Leading the opening ceremony are Undersecretary for General Administration and Support Services Group (GASSG) Atty. Edward Justine Orden, GASSG Asst. Secretary and Concurrent Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Legal Service Atty. Gina Wenceslao, Undersecretary for Innovations Edu Punay, Undersecretary for Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) Diana Rose Cajipe, and World Food Programme-Philippines Country Representative Mr. Regis Chapman.

The summit aims to promote inclusiveness and collaboration between the government and the private sector in enhancing the country’s disaster response strategies.
