In its continuing relief operations for Tropical Storm Kristine, personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office (FO) 2-Cagayan Valley distribute on Thursday (October 24) more than 200 family food packs (FFPs) and 186 non-food items to evacuees in the different parts of the region.

The relief supplies, worth over Php500,000, were given to evacuees in the provinces of Isabela, Cagayan, and Quirino.

This latest relief distribution is part of the FO’s efforts to ensure that affected families are able to meet their food needs and other basic needs while seeking temporary shelter in evacuation centers.
