Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and MVP Group President and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Thursday (April 10) formalizing a partnership that aims to enhance the delivery of social protection services in the country.

Other signatories from the MVP Group include PLDT-SMART Foundation (PSF) President Ma. Esther Santos; One Meralco Foundation (OMF) President Jeffrey Tarayao; Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc. (AKFI) Executive Director Ma. Concepcion Enguerra; Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF) President Melody Del Rosario; Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (MWSI) Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communication Marie Antonette De Ocampo; Makati Medical Center Foundation (MMCF) Executive Director Mary Margaret Barro; and, Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC)-MVP Group Vice President for Legal Atty. Ricardo Pilares III.

The DSWD officials who witnessed the ceremonial signing were Undersecretary Monina Josefina Romualdez of the Operations Group; Undersecretary Diana Rose Cajipe and Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao of the Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG); Asst. Secretary Florentino Loyola, Jr. of the Promotive Programs under the Operations Group; Asst.
